Decision
1The Iron Workers have proposed that these two matters be heard together, an idea with which the Operating Engineers agree. While the Board was considering the appropriateness of this proposal, counsel for the Carpenters wrote to the Board indicating that the parties in Board File 0024-01-R have agreed to adjourn that matter sine die. Consequently, the Board is no longer contemplating hearing the matters together, and Board File 0519-01-U will proceed alone. Board File 0519-01-U is referred to the Manager, Field Services, for the appointment of a Labour Relations Officer.
2File 0024-01-R is adjourned sine die. If none of the parties seeks to bring it back on for hearing within one year of the date of this decision, this matter will be terminated and the ballots cast in the representation vote will be destroyed, without further notice to the parties.
