DECISION OF THE BOARD; May 7, 2001
1This is an application under section 63 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”) in which the applicant seeks a declaration that the responding party no longer represents the employees in the bargaining unit for which it is the bargaining agent.
2There is currently only one person in the bargaining unit. By letter dated May 7, 2001, the responding party indicated that it does not contest the employee’s expressed desire that it no longer represent him.
3In view of the responding party's position, and pursuant to section 63(17) of the Act, the Board hereby declares that the responding party no longer represents the employees of Chem-Tan Hotels Limited, in the bargaining unit for which it is the bargaining agent.
