DECISION OF THE BOARD; October 12, 2001
This is a jurisdictional dispute under section 99 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”) in which a consultation was held. During the course of this consultation it became apparent that it would be useful to take a view of the actual work in dispute performed at the Budd plant in Kitchener.
The Board therefore directs that a view of the disputed work will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at the Budd plant in Kitchener. Should the matter not be resolved at that time a further consultation is scheduled to take place on Monday, February 11, 2002 commencing at 9:30 a.m. in the "Board Room", 2nd Floor, 505 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
