DECISION OF THE BOARD; May 29, 2001
Board File No. 0426-01-FC is an application pursuant to section 43 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”).
Board File No. 0435-01-U is an application pursuant to section 96 of the Act.
Having regard to the agreement of the parties, the representations before it and pursuant to section 43 of the Act, the Board directs the settlement of a first collective agreement by arbitration in accordance with section 43(2) of the Act.
Having regard to the agreement of the parties, the Board hereby consents to adjourn the application in Board File No. 0435-01-U sine die for a period not exceeding one year. Unless within that time either party requests that the Board proceed with the matter, it will be deemed terminated without any further notice to the parties.
The hearing scheduled for May 30, 31 and June 1, 2001 is hereby cancelled.
