DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 16, 2001
1. This is an application for certification which was filed with the Board on March 15, 2001. A representation vote was held on March 22, 2001. Subsequent to the representation vote the parties agreed to adjourn the matter. The application was brought back on for hearing on November 16, 2001.
2. At the hearing on November 16, 2001 the Board dismissed the application on the basis that it was untimely.
3. The Registrar will destroy the ballots cast in the representation vote taken in this matter following the expiration of 30 days from the date of this decision unless a statement requesting that the ballots should not be destroyed is received by the Board from one of the parties before the expiration of such 30 day period.
4. The responding party is directed to post copies of this decision in places in the workplace where they are likely to come to the attention of the affected employees. Copies of this decision are to remain posted for 30 days.
