DECISION OF THE BOARD; October 29, 2001
- At the case management consultation held with respect to the above applications on October 25, 2001 the parties agreed to the following:
a) The hearing date of November 16, 2001 scheduled for Board File No. 1690-01-U is cancelled. The parties had agreed to a further hearing of January 23, 2002. However that date is not available. The Registrar will contact the parties to schedule a further date.
b) The grievance referrals in Board File Nos. 1659-01-G;
1660-01-G and 1661-01-G are adjourned sine die for a period not exceeding one year. Unless within that time any party requests that the Board proceed with these matters, they will be deemed terminated without any further notice to the parties.
c) The union parties have agreed to meet as soon as possible to attempt to settle their dispute. If they are successful as between them they will contact the responding party company for its agreement. If they are unsuccessful they will contact the above sidespersons for further assistance.
