DECISION OF THE BOARD; April 9, 2001
1The responding party Labourers’ International Union of North America, (“LIUNA”) in Board File 3717-00-U, requests further particulars of the allegations made by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (“UBCJ Local 27”).
2The allegations arise in the context of a displacement certification application by LIUNA for which UBCJ Local 27 holds bargaining rights.
3These matters are scheduled for hearing May 23 and 24, 2001 with the unfair labour practice complaint being heard first.
4The Board directs UBCJ Local 27 to provide further particulars as to the names of the LIUNA representatives alleged to have approached employees in the presence of management and where and when such conduct occurred.
5The applicant (in Board File No. 3717-00-U) is to provide these additional particulars to the responding party and the Board within two weeks of the date of this decision.
