3085-98-ES Am-Call Paging Corp., Applicant v. Chue Lau and Ministry of Labour, Responding Parties.
Employment Practices Branch File No. 30012037
BEFORE: Anthony Brown, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 4, 2001
1These applications were heard on November 10, 2000. They were heard together. The hearing did not conclude on November 10, 2000, and was adjourned toward the end of the day in order to provide the parties with an opportunity to try to reach a settlement with the assistance of a Labour Relations Officer.
2To date, the Board has not received an indication from the parties as to the status of these matters although it appeared that they had reached a tentative settlement which obviated the need to schedule another day.
3The parties are hereby directed to advise the Board within ten days of the date of this decision as to whether the party wishes to have either matter scheduled. Failing receipt of a request to reschedule, the application or applications may be terminated without further notice to the parties.
