Decision of the Board
1This is an application for certification. A vote was held on May 31, 2001 and the ballot box was sealed. The parties have disputes about the geographic scope of the unit and how it is to be described although there is an agreement with respect to exclusions. There are some status issues as well. At the end of the first hearing date the Board set eight more days after consulting with the parties. At the time the Board expressed the concern that given the nature of the application and the sealed ballot box, the dates set, and in particular the last three dates which are in February 2002, were too far into the future. The Board indicated that it would be speaking to the Registrar to find some earlier dates. Fortunately it has been possible to find earlier dates. This application will now proceed on August 29, 30, October 1, 5, 15, 23, November 6, 7 and 8 2001. The hearings will take place at 505 University Ave. Toronto in the 2nd floor "Boardroom" at 9:30 a.m.
