DECISION OF THE BOARD; July 31, 2001
1. The Board has received submissions from the applicant enclosing a copy of Minutes of Settlement between itself and the responding party. These Minutes provide as follows:
MINUTES OF SETTLEMENT
In regards to the matter of violations of the Provincial Collective Agreement between the Ontario Painting Contractors Association, The Acoustical Association Ontario, the Interior Systems Contractors Association of Ontario and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades by the Employer at various jobsites up to and including May 2001, the Union/International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local 1494 and the Employer/Windsor Painting Contractors (1986) Ltd. agree as follows:
That the employer shall pay to the Union as full and final settlement of all the issues in question the sum of $5,000.00 (five thousand dollars) within seven (7) days of the date of this agreement
The employer shall immediately comply with the Provincial Collective Agreement including requiring all employees covered under the terms of the Collective Agreement to become and remain members in good standing with the Union and that the employer remit all monies as and when required under the Collective Agreement.

2. On the basis of that agreement, the Board reconsiders the decision of July 6, 2001. The Board revokes paragraphs 3-9 inclusive and paragraphs 10(d) and (e) and 11(d) and (e) of the decision and adds the following:
“11. (d) on the basis of Minutes of Settlement filed, the Board orders the responding party to pay to the applicant forthwith the sum of $5,000.00.”
