DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 4, 2001
Decision
At the request of the parties, the hearing dates in these matters set for Thursday, December 6 and Friday, December 7, 2001 only are adjourned. The hearing dates set for December 10 and 11, 2001 will remain scheduled. The parties will meet on December 10, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. with a mediator who is not the Vice-Chair hearing this matter to ascertain whether or not further discussions will assist in the resolution of some or all of the issues in these applications. If not, or if the parties determine by the end of the day on December 7, 2001 that such discussions are not likely to prove fruitful, then they should be prepared to resume the calling of evidence on December 10, 2001. Alternatively, if, on December 10, 2001, the parties jointly request an adjournment of the hearings scheduled for December 10 and 11, 2001, the Board may simply cancel all hearing dates and adjourn the matters sine die.
