DECISION OF THE BOARD; May 31, 2001
This is an application for a declaration that two or more employers are a single employer for the purposes of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c. 1, as amended (the “Act”) and/or for a declaration that all or part of the business has been sold to another entity. The applicant also alleges that the responding parties have committed unfair labour practices.
By decision dated May 10, 2001, the Board noted that the responding parties had not filed a response. The Board determined that it was prepared to deal with the applications on the basis of the material before it, but could not determine if the employees affected had received notice of the proceeding, and directed the applicant to so advise the Board.
By letter dated May 22, 2001, the applicant has advised the Board that the notice has not been posted. Further, the applicant advises that employees affected by this application are working at the following project:

Ottawa Ontario
The Board hereby directs a Labour Relations Officer to post notice of this proceeding at the above noted project.
If any affected employees wish to make submissions with respect to this application, they must do so by the terminal date set out in the Notice to Employees.
