DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 29, 2001
The Corporation of the City of Hamilton and the Hamilton Professional Firefighters Association have both requested that the hearing dates of January 10 and 11, 2002, currently scheduled for Board File No. 2684-99-M be used for Board File No. 2097-01-R. The Greater Hamilton Volunteer Firefighters Association opposes the request.
After considering the submissions of the parties’, the Board has decided to schedule the hearing of the application in Board File No. 2097-01-R to take place January 10 and 11, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. in the 2nd floor Board Room, 505 University Avenue, Toronto. If the hearing is not completed on those two days it will continue on January 15, 16, 17, 22 and 25, 2002. If the application in Board File No. 2097-01-R is completed on January 10 and 11, 2002, the other dates will be used for the continuation of Board File No. 2684-99-M.
The hearing date of January 8, 2002 scheduled for Board File No. 2684-99-M is hereby cancelled pursuant to the agreement of the parties in that matter.
The Corporation of the City of Hamilton is directed to post copies of this decision in places where they are likely to come to the attention of affected employees. The copies must remain posted until January 10, 2002.
