DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 31, 2001
The Board, by decision in this matter dated July 19, 2001 adjourned the hearing of this matter sine die on agreement of the parties pending their completion of the settlement that they had reached prior to the hearing.
Counsel for the applicant by letter to the Board dated August 30, 2001 informed the Board that the parties have now completed the settlement of the applicant’s claim for damages. He requested that the Board “endorse its record with the parties’ agreement that these proceedings have now been completed.”
Having regard to the parties’ agreement, the Board finds that the proceedings arising out of this referral of a grievance to the Board for determination under the Labour Relations Act have now been completed.
