DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 1, 2001

The responding party has requested an extension of time to file its response on the basis that both counsel who could respond to this matter are on holidays. It would have been helpful if the author of the letter had been more precise about when both lawyers were on holidays and what other commitments might make a two-week extension reasonable. Complaints about the dates when opposing counsel have taken their holidays is not helpful in determining this question. The time for filing a response is extended to August 15, 2001.
