DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 10, 2001
1The Sault Ste. Marie Professional Fire Fighters Association, Local 529 (“Local 529”) advises in correspondence of December 6, 2001 that it intends to file a response in this matter. It asks for an extension until December 21, 2001 to file that document.
2It is not clear to the Board why an extension is required given Local 529’s admission that it has been in receipt of the application since November 10, 2001. However, the hearing is not yet scheduled and the Labour Relations Officer assigned to this application will not be required to report back to the Board concerning the result of his inquiry into this matter until January 11, 2001.
3The request of Local 529 is granted. Its response is to be filed and delivered on or before December 21, 2001.
