DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 6, 2001
1These are four matters concerning the same parties. One is an application for certification scheduled for a Regional Certification meeting on November 14, 2001. It is scheduled to be heard on November 19 and 20, 2001. The other matters are an application under section 69 and 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”), section 96 of the Act and section 66 of the Act. The applicant requests that the latter three matters be scheduled for hearing with Board File No. 1951-01-R.
2Having regard to that request and the nature of the applications, these matters shall be scheduled to be heard together. The terminal date in Board File No. 2187-01-R is hereby abridged to November 13, 2001. The time for filing responses in Board File Nos. 2179-01-R, 2180-01-U and 2187-01-R is hereby abridged to November 13, 2001 as well. The panel scheduled to hear these matters can decide how to proceed.
3The employer is directed to post this decision immediately adjacent to all copies of the “Notice of Vote and of Hearing” posted previously. These copies must remain posted until the date that has been set for the hearing in these matters.
4The matter is referred to the Registrar.
