2518-01-U Edward A. Corner, Applicant v. Power Workers Union, Responding Party v. Hydro One Inc., Intervenor.
BEFORE: Christopher J. Albertyn, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 27, 2001
1This purports to be an application under section 96 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c.1, as amended ("the Act") in which the applicant claims that the responding trade union ("the union") has violated section 74 of the Act.
2The applicant has not complied with the Board's Rules. A letter was written to him by the Registrar on December 7, 2001 returning his application and drawing his attention to the Rules which he had not complied with. He was given the opportunity to re-file his application in accordance with the Board's Rules. He was to do so within 10 days of the date of the Registrar's letter. He was warned that a failure to file the application correctly could result in its dismissal.
3The applicant appears to have done nothing in response to the Registrar's advice. The application does not comply with the Board's Rules, particularly Rules 16, 17 and 18. Under Rule 29 the application cannot proceed. It is dismissed.
