DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 10, 2000
1At a hearing scheduled for November 3, 2000, counsel for the applicant brought to the Board’s attention that it had filed an application pursuant to section 66 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”) Board File No. 2169-00-R relating to this matter.
2Having heard submissions of the parties, counsel for RWDSU not consenting, the Board will consolidate Board File 2169-00-R with Board File No’s 2124-99-U and 2821-99-U.
3Counsel for the RWDSU notified the parties that he would be raising preliminary objections relating to Board File No. 2169-00-R and undertook to notify the parties as to the facts he would be relying upon to argue his preliminary objections.
4At the hearing scheduled for December 8, 2000 the Board will hear argument on any preliminary issue.
5The parties have agreed on two additional dates for hearings, in addition to dates already set, namely February 13 and 19, 2001.
“Timothy W. Sargeant”
for the Board
