DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 11, 2000
1These are applications for declarations that there has been a sale of business from Royal Ottawa Health Care Group to Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
2By letter dated December 6, 2000, the applicants ask that the Board direct the responding parties to comply with the Board’s order of November 10, 2000 to produce certain documents to the applicants. While the Board will not generally direct compliance with a previous Board order, given that the Board’s decision dated November 10, 2000 did not specify a date by which the responding parties are required to comply, the Board directs compliance with the Board’s decision dated November 10, 2000 by no later than December 18, 2000.
3The applicants also seek an order from the Board directing the responding party, Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, to stop its planned consultation with “staff” until it complies with that order or until the applicant has sufficient time to review the documents. The Board declines to do so in the context of the present sale of business applications.
