DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 13, 2000

This is an application for a review of a decision of an Employment Standards officer pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act, R.S.O. 1990 ch. E-14 ("the Act"). A hearing was scheduled by the Registrar for Wednesday, December 13, 2000 at 9:30 a.m. The applicant was given notice of this date by a Notice of Hearing dated October 19, 2000 sent to her by regular mail at the address listed on the application. The Notice was not returned to the Board by Canada Post. On December 13, 2000 the Board waited its customary half-hour for parties to appear. At 10:10 a.m. the applicant had still not appeared at the Board. Accordingly, the Board dismisses this application.
