DECISION OF THE BOARD; July 28, 2000
1This is a referral of a grievance to the Board for determination under section 133 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c. 1 as amended (the “Act”). The Chair of the Board authorized me to sit alone to hear and determine this matter pursuant to section 110(14)(a) of the Act.
2Prior to the commencement of the hearing of this matter, the parties entered into Minutes of Settlement that were filed with the Board. That settlement provides in part that the Board is to remain seized in the event there is any difficulty in implementing the settlement.
3Under these circumstances, the Board hereby adjourns this matter sine die. Unless either party requests that the Board proceed with the matter within one year from the date of this decision, it will be deemed terminated without any further notice to the parties.
