DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 8, 2000
1This is an application for a declaration that Service Employees International Union, Local 204 is a successor union to Service Employees International Union, Local 478.
2The application was filed on October 10, 2000. The Board set a terminal date of October 24, 2000 and directed the employer to post copies of the Notice to Employees (Form B15).
3The terminal date has now passed and the Board has received no representations opposing the application. Unfortunately, however, it appears that the Notice to Employees was not posted until November 1, 2000 over a week after the expiry of the terminal date.
4The Board therefore extends the terminal date in this matter to November 20, 2000. Should any party wish to make representations they may do so by that date.
5The Board will review the matter again once the terminal date has passed.
6The employer is directed to post a copy of this decision next to the posted copies of the Notice to Employees.
