1On September 7, 2000, Armbro Construction Ltd. (“Armbro”) filed an application pursuant to section 61(7) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.0.1 (the “Act”) seeking the suspension of Order No. 415113 issued by Inspector Dave Cochrane on August 27, 2000. The suspension request has been assigned Board File No. 1709-00-HS. Armbro has also filed an appeal of Order No. 415113 which has been assigned Board File No. 1710-00-HS.
2By a decision dated October 4, 2000, the Board granted an extension to Armbro to provide additional submissions since it had recently retained counsel. Unfortunately, the Board failed to send a copy of that decision to counsel. Counsel recently found out about the decision, and requested a brief further extension.
3The Board apologizes for its error. In all the circumstances, a further extension is warranted. Armbro is directed to deliver and file any further submissions by October 17, 2000. Should any other party wish to file a supplementary response, they should do so by October 24, 2000.
