The applicant has filed a request for reconsideration of the Board’s decision dated October 19, 2000, dismissing the application for review for failure to make the required payment to the Director of Employment Standards.
By memo dated November 3, 2000 the Ministry of Labour, Employment Practices Branch, advised in part:
“Appeal Received
Please be advised
A) The above noted employer has forwarded payment in the amount of
$90,105.17
B) and applied for a review of the Order to Pay
The relevant documents are being forwarded to the OLRB along with a hard copy of
this memo. OLRB will acknowledge the appeal and forward you official notice of
the appeal.”
The certificate of delivery (Form A-49) indicates the required documents relating to this request for reconsideration were served on the responding parties on or before November 10, 2000. The Board’s records show the request for reconsideration was received by the Board on November 10, 2000 at 10:14 a.m.
Having regard to the above, the Board directs the responding parties to file their submission with respect to this request for reconsideration within 14 days of the date of this decision.
