DECISION OF THE BOARD
1This is an application under section 63 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”) in which the applicant seeks a declaration that the responding party no longer represents the employees in the bargaining unit for which it is the bargaining agent.
2In its response to the application dated June 20, 2000, the responding party states that it no longer wishes to represent the employees in the bargaining unit for which it is the bargaining agent.
3In view of the responding party's position, and pursuant to section 63(17) of the Act, the Board hereby declares that the responding party no longer represents the employees of Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association, Local 397, in the bargaining unit for which it is the bargaining agent.
