DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 2, 2000
1. This is an application pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act as amended by the Economic Development and Workplace Democracy Act, 1998, S.O. 1998, c.8. The parties have entered into Minutes of Settlement dated May 5, 2000. Having regard to the Minutes of Settlement, I hereby order:
(i) that the wages paid to the "Director in trust" in relation to this matter be disbursed as follows:
to be paid to the Employer $ 249.39
to be paid to the Employee $ 449.28
(ii) that the administration fee
as set out in the Order to
Pay be retained by the
Government of Ontario
Consolidated Revenue Fund $ 100.00
total amount held by the
Director $ 798.67
(iii) that interest earned on the amounts held in trust be paid to the above parties in proportion to the amounts paid out.
DISPOSITION
3. This matter is terminated in accordance with section 69.1(5) of the Act.
