Decision
1There is a request for reconsideration in Board File 0392-99-R. The reconsideration request appears to be untimely. Its principal complaint is that the Operating Engineers should have been given notice of the certification application by the General Construction Employee Association. The Operating Engineers claim bargaining rights in respect of the unit for which the General Construction Employee Association has been certified.
2The reconsideration request in Board file 0392-99-R should be set down for hearing with Board files 2573-99-G, 2577-99-U, and 2578-99-R. The issues in the reconsideration request (the timeliness of the request; whether the Operating Engineers should have been given notice of the certification application; etc.) can be addressed with the matters to be dealt with in those files.
