0781-00-PS Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local 1306.3, Applicant v. The Corporation of the Township of Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield, Responding Party.
BEFORE: Bram Herlich, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 12, 2000
By decision dated November 14, 2000, the Board sought the submissions of the parties as to the legal effect to be given to the representation vote held in this matter.
The applicant union has responded within the time limits set by the Board. It asserts that there is no reason to alter the current collective bargaining relationships until January 1, 2001. It offers no suggestion as to what, if anything, ought to happen or what the Board should or should not do after that date.
The responding party employer has not favoured the Board with the courtesy of any submissions on the point.
In view of the submissions received and the Board’s previous decision in the matter, this matter is hereby terminated.
