This is a complaint by an employee, Ms. Samantha Christensen against her employer which was referred to the Board. It was not filed on the correct form nor did it comply with the Board’s Rules of Procedure.
It appears that the complaint was never brought to the Ministry of Labour by Ms. Christensen and no Employment Standards Officer was involved either to issue an order or to refuse to issue an order. There is therefore no decision to appeal. Accordingly I have no jurisdiction to consider this matter. The matter is accordingly terminated.
Ms. Christensen is advised to contact the Ministry of Labour should she wish to seek information or to pursue this matter.
