DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 17, 2000
1These are displacement applications in which the ballot boxes have been sealed pending a decision of the Board in other like applications. The Board (panel differently constituted) issued its decision in Board File Nos. 1417-00-R, 1418-00-R, 1456-00-R, 1457-00-R, 1458-00-R and 1459-00-R on November 2, 2000.
2The applicant has requested that in light of the November 2, 2000 decision the ballot boxes in these present applications be opened and counted. All of the other affected parties agree or take no position against the request.
3The Board therefore refers all of these applications to the attention of the Manager of Field Services to appoint a Labour Relations Officer to meet with the various parties to open the ballot boxes and to count the ballots cast in each instance. The meeting to open the ballot boxes is to be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. at the Board offices at 505 University Avenue, 2nd Floor, Toronto, Ontario.
