DECISION OF THE BOARD; September 25, 2000
1This is an application under section 68 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the “Act”) for a declaration that the applicant has acquired the rights, privileges and duties of its predecessor union by reason of a merger, amalgamation or transfer of jurisdiction.
2In accordance with the Board’s decision dated August 29, 2000 the applicant has provided the Board with the location where the notice of application may be posted.
3The Board authorizes a Labour Relations Officer to attend at the premises of the responding party employer at 205 Algonquin Avenue, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 4V8 to post Notice to Employees of “Application for Declaration Concerning Status of Successor Trade Union”.
4The Labour Relations Officer shall report back to the Board as to the date such Notice was posted.
