1963-00-ES Joicey Food Services Ltd., Applicant v. Ministry of Labour, Responding Party.
Employment Practices Branch File No. 52006481
BEFORE: Harry Freedman, Vice‑Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 1, 2000
Joicey Food Services Ltd. (“Joicey”) forwarded payment of $2,495.92 in respect of Order to Pay No. 58374 to the Director of Employment Standards together with a form indicating that it was applying for a review of the Order to Pay but that the documents relating to the application for review were not attached.
The Board, by letter dated October 5, 2000, advised Joicey that a proper application for review had to be filed on the correct forms and provided both the correct forms and other requisite information to enable a proper application to be filed. The letter went on to indicate that the proper application had to be filed within 10 working days of that letter and if it was not filed within that time, the application for review may be terminated.
The Board, as of the date of this decision, has not received any further material from Joicey. Under these circumstances, there is no proper application before the Board.
Disposition
- Having regard to the time limit set by the Registrar in his letter to Joicey dated October 5, 2000 and Joicey’s failure to file a proper application for review, this proceeding is terminated.
“Harry Freedman”
for the Board
