DECISION OF THE BOARD; December 13, 2000
The name of the applicant is hereby changed to “The Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores”.
In a decision dated October 27, 2000 the Board agreed to supervise a representation vote requested by the parties even though the changeover date had not yet occurred. In ordering the vote the Board was exercising its authority to make an interim order under section 37(7) of the Public Sector Labour Relations Transitions Act (the “Act”).
The Board now directs the parties to advise it as to whether they are asking it to do anything further with respect to this application. If so, the parties should indicate where the Board’s jurisdiction for such action may be found.
The parties should file their submissions, if any, with the Board on or before January 5, 2001. If no submissions are received this application will be terminated.
The Registrar is directed to place any submissions filed in front of this panel of the Board, if it is practicable to do so.
