DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 2, 2000
1This is an application under section 96 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c. 1 as amended (the "Act") alleging that the responding party violated various provisions of the Act and seeking broad remedial relief which was scheduled for hearing on August 2, 2000. Counsel for the applicant, by letter dated July 28, 2000 to counsel for the responding party sought the production of a variety of documents. Counsel for the applicant, by letter also dated July 28, 2000 to the Registrar, amended the application by filing additional particulars.
2Counsel for the applicant, by letter to the Registrar dated August 1, 2000, which was received in the Board’s offices after 5:00 p.m. on that date advised that the parties had agreed to adjourn the hearing in order to give the responding party an opportunity to provide and the applicant an opportunity to review the documents that the responding party is producing as a result of the production request made on July 28, 2000. The applicant also requested that the Registrar schedule new dates for the hearing of this matter in consultation with the parties.
3Having regard to the agreement of the parties and the request of the applicant, the hearing of this matter scheduled for August 2, 2000 is hereby adjourned to a date to be fixed by the Registrar in consultation with the parties. This matter is referred to the Registrar.
