Decision
1A hearing was scheduled in this matter for October 19, 2000. Counsel for the appellant and counsel for the Ministry of Labour requested an adjournment of the appeal sine die to enable the appointment of an officer to consult with the parties and attempt to effect a settlement. That request was unopposed.
2Accordingly, the request is hereby granted. Pursuant to section 68(23) of the Employment Standards Act, an officer will be appointed to meet with the parties to attempt to resolve this matter.
3The application is adjourned sine die for that purpose for a period not exceeding one year. Unless within that time either party requests that the Board proceed with the matter, it will be deemed terminated without any further notice to the parties.
