BEFORE: Mary Ellen Cummings, Alternate Chair and Board Members J. G. Knight and A. Haward.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; March 27, 2000
Counsel to the Toronto‑Dominion Bank (the "Bank") and counsel to the Carpenters (the main participants in this proceeding) have not been able to agree on continuation dates. In fact, they have not been able to agree whether two further dates are required.
The Board has determined to schedule two further dates, as suggested by counsel for the Bank, to ensure this matter is completed. However we are not prepared to schedule those dates pre-emptorily in August, 2000 during a time when counsel for the Carpenters has advised the Board he will be on vacation.
Unfortunately, this panel does not have available days in September. We are scheduling our next available dates, October 28 and 24, 2000.
The hearing will commence at 9:30 a.m. each day, at the Board’s premises, 505 University Avenue, 2nd Floor, Toronto, Ontario.
