Ontario Labour Relations Board
0478-00-U Eugena Soso, Applicant v. Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 1590, Providence Centre, Responding Parties.
BEFORE: Bram Herlich, Vice‑Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; June 19, 2000
This is an application filed pursuant to section 96 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 wherein it is alleged that the responding party union has violated section 74 of the Act.
On the basis of the material filed, the Board is entirely unable to discern or divine the nature of the applicant’s complaint or the nature of the relief being sought by way of the application.
The portions of the application which permit and require a concise narrative of the events complained of have been left blank. The portion of the application in which remedies sought are to be identified has been left blank.
The sum total of any narrative description included in the application is as follows:
“Grievance was denied and proceeded to Arbitration and was settled by Minutes of Settlement”
A number of documents are attached to the application including Minutes of Settlement between Providence Centre and the union which appear to have been executed by the applicant as well as the other parties.
The Board is unable to determine the nature of the complaint on the basis of what has been filed. The filings fail to establish any arguable violation of the Act.
This application is dismissed.
