DECISION OF THE BOARD; October 10, 2000
In the Board’s decision of October 6, 2000, we did not consider the respecting party’s objection to the application pursuant to section 7(9) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995.
The responding party has not raised this issue with the specificity necessary for the Board to determine the matter at this time. In particular, the responding party did not cite the Board File number from the earlier application. The responding party is requested to provide this to the Board.
In the circumstances, the Board is unable to resolve the responding party’s objection and, accordingly, the responding party may raise this objection to the panel of the Board hearing the matter. Even if the responding party had raised this objection fully in its response, the Board would have decided to have this matter determined by the panel of the Board hearing this matter.
