DECISION OF THE BOARD; November 21, 2000

1. This is an application for certification.

2. The Responding Party indicates in its Response that the Applicant has not indicated any geographic scope for its proposed bargaining unit. The Responding Party indicates that the Applicant should withdraw its application.

3. In order to be an appropriate unit, the bargaining unit must contain a geographic scope. This unit does not contain any geographic scope and therefore is not an appropriate unit. This application is dismissed. There is no bar against a further application from the Applicant.
