DECISION OF THE BOARD
1This is an application under sections 69 and 1(4) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, S.O. 1995, c. 1 as amended (the “Act”) for declaratory and other relief. The application originally named 853291 Ontario Ltd. c.o.b. G.N.S. Fabrication and G+S Associates Inc. as the responding parties. The responding parties, in their response filed with the Board on October 17, 2000, also made reference to an entity called GNS Installation. Counsel for the applicant, by letter dated October 27, 2000, seeks to amend the application by adding GNS Installation as a respondent and by the further additions and changes as more particularly set out in items 2 through 7 of that letter.
2The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers, Local 721 (“Local 721”) filed an intervention in this application.
3Having regard to the request of the applicant and the intervention filed by Local 721, the Board hereby amends the application by adding GNS Installation as a responding party and Local 721 as an intervenor. The Board further amends the application by the additions and changes set out in items 2 through 7 of the letter from counsel for the applicant dated October 27, 2000.
4This matter is referred to the Labour Relations Officer assigned to meet with the parties and endeavour to effect a settlement.
