DECISION OF THE BOARD; September 12, 2000
The Board (differently constituted), by decision dated August 4, 2000 dismissed this application for review under the Employment Standards Act, R. S. O. 1990, c. E. 14, as amended (the "Act") by reason of the applicant’s failure to pay the amount required by the Order to Pay. On September 11, 2000 the Registrar received in the mail a cheque payable to the Director in the amount required by the Order to Pay together with the slip from the bottom of the Order to Pay identifying the Order to Pay number to which the payment relates. The slip also states: “Are you applying for a review?” and has two boxes; one headed Yes and the other No. Neither box was marked.
The Board had already determined that this application for review be dismissed. The applicant has now paid the amount required by the Order to Pay. There is therefore nothing further to be done in this proceeding. This application was and remains dismissed.
