Decision

1. The Adjudicator/Referee has received correspondence from the representative of the applicant requesting that arrangements be made to receive evidence from a witness by telephone.

2. The Adjudicator/Referee will not permit evidence to be presented by way of a telephone call. A witness must be present in the hearing room where she may be observed giving her testimony, where she may present any relevant documents and where she may be cross-examined in person.
