This is an application for certification.
By decision dated April 5, 2000 the Board ordered that a vote be held in this matter on April 7, 2000.
The responding party in its response gave notice under section 8.1 that it disagreed with the applicant's estimate of the number of individuals in the bargaining unit included in the application for certification.
Prior to the vote the applicant having reviewed the response notified the Board on April 5, 2000 that it wished the application to be dismissed pursuant to paragraph 7 of subsection 8.1(5) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (the "Act").
The Board therefore dismisses this application pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 7 subsection 8.1(5) of the Act.
