DECISION OF THE BOARD; September 8, 2000
This is an application brought pursuant to section 50 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (the “Act”).
A hearing was held on September 8, 2000. No one appeared on behalf of the applicant. The Board had previously been notified that the Parkdale Community Legal Services Inc. was withdrawing as counsel of record for the applicant. There was no indication in the file that the applicant’s Notice of Hearing had been returned or that the applicant had requested an adjournment. The hearing did not commence until 10:00 a. m. and still at that time the applicant or a representative had not yet appeared.
The application is therefore dismissed and the matter deemed to be terminated.
