2239-99-U Marie L. Murchison, Applicant v. Ontario Nurses’ Association, Responding Party v. Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital, Intervenor.
BEFORE: David A. McKee, Vice-Chair.
DECISION OF THE BOARD; May 24, 2000
1The Board has reviewed the submissions of the applicant in this matter, along with the letter from counsel for ONA dated May 16, 2000. The Board directs the Registrar to schedule this application for a consultation. In doing so, the Board does not mean to express any opinion about the merits of the application or of the submissions made by counsel for the applicant. Simply put, the Board is not satisfied on the basis only of the material filed by the applicant that there is no basis for the relief sought.
2At the consultation, the applicant should be prepared to deal with the advice sought, as well as the advice given, from and by ONA in late 1997. Further, the application does not appear to indicate what, if anything, the applicant did after she attempted to rescind her voluntary resignation in December of 1997 or January of 1998. If the applicant intends to allege that there was any contact with ONA during that period or at any time between that time and September of 1988 which is not already pleaded, such allegation must be made in writing forthwith.
3I am not seized of this application.
“David A. McKee”
