Decision
1This is an application for review pursuant to the Employment Standards Act. The applicant seeks review of an Employment Standards Officer’s refusal to issue an order to pay against the responding party, La Moda, the Hair Cut Centre.
2On the date scheduled for hearing, the parties advised the Board that they had reached a settlement, and they requested an order by the Board on consent. Therefore, the Board directs as follows:
(i) The responding party (La Moda, the Hair Cut Centre) shall pay the applicant Lauri Hodgins the sum of $750.00 by no later than June 15, 2000
(ii) If the said amount is not paid by June 15, 2000, the applicant may notify the Ministry of Labour Employment Standards Branch that she wishes to have the matter rescheduled for hearing. She shall have until June 30, 2000 to make such a notification, failing which this matter will be considered terminated.
