DECISION OF THE BOARD; March 2, 2000
1Further to the Board’s decision of February 7, 2000 counsel for the applicant employer advised the Board that the matter has been settled. The letter of February 21, 2000 encloses a document signed by Valerie Vautour “authorizing and directing the Ministry of Labour and the Ontario Labour Relations Board to return the monies paid to the Director of Employment Standard to the employer, Mipps Systems Solution Inc.” The funds are to be paid to Zeppieri & Associates, in Trust.
2The letter does not indicate if a copy of the correspondence including the Authorization and Direction was in fact sent to the Ministry of Labour. The Registrar is directed to send a copy of the February 21, 2000 letter and the attachment to the Ministry together with this decision.
3The Ministry of Labour is directed to advise the Board and the other parties within 14 days of the date of this decision what position it takes with respect to the applicant employer’s request to withdraw this application and to return all funds paid.
