DECISION OF THE BOARD; August 4, 2000
This is an employer request for review of Order to Pay No. 31083. The application is made pursuant to section 68 of the Employment Standards Act (the “Act”).
By Minutes of Settlement dated June 12, 2000 the applicant and Carlos Altedill have resolved the matters in dispute between them and have agreed that Mr. Altedill is to be paid $900 plus any accrued interest from the monies held in trust by the Director of Employment Standards pursuant to the Order.
The application as it relates to Mr. Medeiros remains unresolved and will proceed to a hearing.
DISPOSITION
Following the issuance of this decision, the style of cause for this application will be amended to reflect that the application only continues with respect to Mr. Medeiros and Mr. Altedill’s name will be removed as a responding party.
The Board requests that the Director of Employment Standards release to Mr. Carlos Altedill the amount of $900 plus any accrued interest as soon as it is reasonable to do so.
