1This is an application under section 68 of the Employment Standards Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E-14, as amended, for review of an Order to Pay issued by an Employment Standards Officer.
2The hearing in this matter was scheduled for January 20, 2000. At the outset, the representative of the responding party, 1207665 Ontario Inc, operating as Steak Queen Restaurant, (the “restaurant”) requested that the matter be adjourned on the ground, among others, that the restaurant’s principal was too ill to attend. On this basis, the applicant consented to the adjournment of this matter, but asked that the hearing be re-scheduled within a reasonable time. The responding party, Ministry of Labour, did not object to the adjournment.
3Having regard to the agreement of the parties, the Board consents to the adjournment of this matter. The matter is referred to the Registrar for re-scheduling.
